High Heat, Without the Heart Attack
Picture this: you’re in the middle of a high-pressure production run. The clock is ticking, the line is moving. The absolute last thing you want is your heating lamp giving up the ghost. Because in a cleanroom, a lamp failing isn’t just a breakdown. It’s a full-blown contamination nightmare, the kind that can wipe out wafers and send your whole day sideways. So we built a cleanroom bench infrared lamp to kill that problem before it even starts.
The Power You Need, Packed Tight
The core of it is simple: a 400V, 2500W, 300mm shortwave halogen unit. That’s a lot of power in a small package, and it’s exactly what you need for fast, focused heat. But cranking out that kind of energy puts real stress on the filament. So the design has to be rock solid, both electrically and mechanically, to keep everything stable when the heat is on.
The Specs Behind the Muscle
We run this lamp at 400V to get the power you need through a compact 300mm body. That means it takes up minimal space on your bench while delivering the intense heat flux required for processes that can’t wait. This isn’t a lamp for gentle warming. It’s built for jobs that demand immediate, high-intensity energy. Here’s the catch, though: that kind of power density means your equipment’s cooling and ventilation need to be up to the task. If the surroundings can’t handle the heat, the lamp will run hotter than it should, and that shortens its life.
The Safety Build That Keeps Things Clean
Inside, you’ve got a shortwave halogen element housed in a high-purity quartz envelope. Quartz is perfect here because it can handle the shock of rapid on-off cycling and keeps the output steady. We also added a special coating to the envelope that lowers the surface temperature. That helps protect nearby components and makes accidental contact less of a worry. Then we pair the tube with an R7s connector. It’s a proven industrial interface that locks the lamp in place and keeps the connection solid, even with vibration. No wiggle, no arcing, no hot spots at the terminals. This setup prevents premature burnout and keeps the lamp from shedding particles.
Built for the Cleanroom Bench
On the bench, this lamp is a straightforward solution for localized heating, pre-heating, or curing. The anti-burst design means if something goes wrong, the lamp doesn’t spray glass or debris into the workspace. If the filament fails, it fails clean. You get predictable performance, repeatable heat, and far fewer unplanned stops. That’s the whole point: you can run hard, and keep the line clean.
